WEDDING MUSIC GUIDE

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT WEDDING ENTERTAINMENT

A wedding takes months or even years to plan, as you make sure that everything falls into place and nothing is forgotten. After all that work, you should be able to enjoy your reception and not worry about what your DJ is doing.

Our couples trust us to prepare by getting as many details from you ahead of time as possible so you can spend your wedding day visiting with your family and friends and not talking to us. We will ask you the genres of music you prefer in advance and make sure things are ready to go before your guests arrive. During the reception, we work hard to read the crowd and play songs they enjoy. We are very approachable and try to play as many requests as possible as long as we feel they fit your tastes.

MUSIC SELECTION

Your wedding day will be one of the most treasured memories of your life. Selecting the right wedding music can take a lot of time and effort. We have links to some of the most popular songs to help save you a lot of time.

We love to help you customize your wedding playlist to be yours so feel free to ask us. Our DJs are at a lot of weddings so we usually have a great idea of what songs could work well for you.

"The DJ played all the right songs to keep the dance floor packed and played all the songs my guests and I requested throughout the night. I'm so happy I found Trustworthy Music!"

TIPS FOR CHOOSING A DJ

Rates for the DJ industry vary greatly, ranging from $600 to $5,000 with most couples spending between $980-1845 an average of over $1,500 for a four-hour booking.

A full-service DJ company will normally invest 12 to 30 hours to your special event but it may appear that you are only paying for "four hours". Consultations, preparation, transportation, set-up and tear-down, and other business related endeavors add up to the overall success of your special occasion.

Many Brides and Grooms ask about price first because they’ve never hired a DJ before and they’re not sure what to base their decision on. An important thing to know is that a DJ is not a commodity, there is a big difference in the quality between different DJs.

If you’re checking around, you’re going to hear a lot of different rates, some probably more than ours and some for less, let me ask you this, who makes or breaks your party? Your DJ should be someone you TRUST, and there is a reason our company is called Trustworthy Music!

"Trustworthy Music lived up to the reputation we had discovered when researching online! We could not be happier with our choice, don't change a thing and thank you for being there with us on our big day!"
